General conditions and logic
From when to when does the festival take place? When does admission start?
AFROLAND 2025 will take place on June 13, 2025 from 4 p.m. in the museum courtyard.
Admission is from 15:30
There will also be a market for African arts and crafts, fashion and culinary delights on the University Square on June 12 and 13 - both from 11.00 am.
Here: Live music from 15:00 - admission free
Which artist is performing when?

Are parking spaces available near the venue?
As we are located in the heart of the city and the pedestrian zone, it is easy to get to the city center by public transport or park your car in the surrounding streets.
What is the best way to travel (from Germany/from abroad)?
Fulda - as the center of Germany - is located directly on the A7 motorway and has excellent regional and long-distance rail connections. Frankfurt Airport, Germany's largest commercial airport, is approx. 100 km away and can be reached via a 1-hour direct ICE train connection.
DO CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS?
Children aged 6 and over are admitted to the museum courtyard when accompanied by an adult. By the way: they receive free admission up to and including the age of 12!
WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY DURING MY STAY IN FULDA?
Numerous hotels, guesthouses and apartments can be found, for example, at Planen (tourismus-fulda.de). The Tourist Information staff will also be happy to help.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD (AND DRINKS) ONTO THE FESTIVAL SITE?
Water bottles (up to 0.5 l) with open lids are permitted, but it is forbidden to carry any other food or drink. A wide range of food and drink for all tastes is available directly on Universitätsplatz in front of the venue. Drinks will of course also be served in the museum courtyard.

IS THE FESTIVAL BARRIER-FREE? ARE THERE REGULATIONS FOR HOLDERS OF DISABLED PASSES?
The festival site is barrier-free. Wheelchair users and holders of a severely disabled person's pass with mark B should contact the organizer, preferably by e-mail: freiekulturarbeit@fulda.de
Is there an after-show party?
Yes, the party continues from 23:00: at the Kreuz in Horas. More information will be available here soon.
